ASCENSION – The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for a man wanted for multiple burglaries in the area.

The suspect has been identified as Eric Troquille. Deputies began searching for Troquille  near the Dutchtown Lane and Highway 74 area Tuesday afternoon where he and another suspect, 18-year-old Devin Troquille, fled from deputies.

Devin Troquille, Eric's brother, was arrested after a brief foot chase. He was charged on seven counts of simple burglary, two counts of theft of a firearm and simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

Hunt Correctional Center search dogs indicated that Eric Troquille was running towards the Hwy. 30 area. He was not located after a five-hour search.
