One hurt after vehicle strikes pedestrian on Plank Road
BATON ROUGE – At least one woman was hurt after a vehicle struck a pedestrian in a parking lot off Plank Road Tuesday morning.
The crash happened just before 9 a.m. near the intersection of Plank Road and Harding Road. Paramedics transported one woman from the scene.
Witnesses tell WBRZ's Michael Vinsanau that the female victim was trapped under the vehicle's tire for 30 minutes. Paramedics say she suffered a possible broken leg. She was responsive and talking with first responders.
Baton Rouge Police and firefighters responded to the scene. Details about the crash are limited at this time.
