Woman, 63, killed while trying to cross Florida Street in motorized wheelchair; driver ticketed
BATON ROUGE- A 63-year-old woman who was struck by a car while crossing a roadway in a motorized wheelchair died in the hospital Thursday
Baton Rouge police say Susan Ann Long was hit around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday while riding her scooter across Florida Street near the Greyhound bus station.
Long was rushed to the hospital after the crash in critical condition. She was pronounced the next day.
