Power restored to most in EBR after heavy storms
BATON ROUGE - Power has been restored to most residences and businesses following heavy storms Sunday.
Last night Entergy reported over 2,000 people were without electricity in East Baton Rouge Parish while Jefferson Parish had more than 4,000. Orleans Parish along with Tangipahoa and Terrebonne each had a least 1,000 people without power.
By Monday morning there were 1,122 in EBR still without power. Entergy estimated power to be restored to customers in Donaldsonville around 2 p.m.

The customers in Donaldsonville on Caesar Road are experiencing an outage due to a broken pole. Contract crews are enroute. We are expecting power to be restored to those customers by 2 PM today.
Power was restored to 146 in Jefferson Parish Monday. Power was restored to all by 33 in Orleans Parish, with Tangipahoa and Terrebonne having 221 and 447 still without electricity.
