BATON ROUGE - Authorities responded to a shooting at Blueberry Street Park Tuesday afternoon. 

Sources say the victim is a park contractor who was doing maintenance work for BREC. The male victim was shot in the foot and brought to a nearby hospital. 

His injuries do not appear to be life threatening, according to Baton Rouge Police.
