One arrested, one injured after vehicle crashed into home Monday
BATON ROUGE – One woman was arrested and another injured after a vehicle ran into a house Monday.
A small SUV crashed into the home on Enterprise at St. Gerard in the East Brookstown area sometime before 3:00 p.m.
According to arrest records, the victim said Keyera Winston ran over her in Winston's vehicle after a verbal altercation.
A picture from the scene showed the SUV wedged into the corner of the home. The home had damage to an exterior wall.
Winston said she lost control of the vehicle and hit the house, according to arrest records.
The injuries that the victim sustained were consistent with being ran over or drug by a motor vehicle, according to arrest records.
Winston was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on one count of reckless operation of a motor vehicle, one count of aggravated battery and one count of damage to property.
