PORT ALLEN - Emergency crews responded to a reported stabbing on South 12th Street Thursday evening.

The stabbing was reported around 8 p.m. near South 12th Street and Avenue B.

Sources told WBRZ the female victim was stable when being treated on scene.

It was unclear whether anyone was taken into custody.
