Disaster relief fund established for Louisiana teachers
BATON ROUGE – The Associated Professional Educators of Louisiana has established a relief fund for teachers who have been affected by the recent severe weather in the state.
The A+PEL Disaster Relief Fund is to assist teachers with replacing supplies that were lost in the flooding. According to the organization, 100 percent of the donations go directly to Louisiana teachers.
Also, teachers around the state in need of support can apply for financial support and can do so here.
