Camper trailer fire leaves one dead, one injured in Hammond
HAMMOND - One person is dead and another person is injured after a fatal fire in Hammond Sunday morning.
According to the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal, firefighters with the Hammond Fire Department responded to a reported camper trailer fire in the 44000 block of Recile Lane around 5:00 a.m.
Firefighters discovered one person dead as a result of the fire, and another female with burn injuries. She was transported to an area hospital burn unit for treatment.
