Woman arrested, accused of stabbing man in the heart
BATON ROUGE - Police arrested a woman who allegedly stabbed a man in Baton Rouge Tuesday night.
The incident was reported around 11 p.m. on Heron Street near Scotland Avenue. According to the arrest report the victim went outside after 18-year-old Terrilyn Stewart knocked on the door. Moments later, he ran back into the house clutching his chest.
Authorities say Stewart stabbed the man in the heart then fled the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was rushed into surgery.
