ALBANY - Streets flooded overnight as showers from Nicholas dumped a radar-estimated six to eight inches of rain in the area overnight.

By Wednesday afternoon, Wagner Road was mostly underwater and only passable by trucks or higher vehicles.

Schools in the area closed Wednesday for inclement weather. Nicholas is expected to bring more showers Thursday night before finally dissipating.
