Victim identified in apartment complex shooting on Airline Highway
BATON ROUGE - Police have identified the victim killed in a shooting Thursday night on Airline Highway.
The incident was reported just after 9 p.m. in the 6400 block of Airline Hwy. at the Port Royal Apartment complex. At the scene, authorities found 21-year-old Jamison Murray Tate in the breezway suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Tate died at the scene.
Authorities say there are no known suspects or motives at this time.
