Red car sought after deadly hit and run in Livingston Parish
DENHAM SPRINGS – A woman described on social media as a mother of three children was found dead on the side of La. 447 Wednesday morning.
Kaycie Kidwell, 33, was found near Hammack Road. She’d been hit multiple times by various vehicles.
State Police said a red vehicle is believed to have struck Kidwell initially as she walked down the highway.
“It takes a real pos [sic]” to hit someone and leave the scene, a friend of Kidwell posted on social media in a fit of rage over the situation.
They continued with a message to the initial driver: “[if you’re reading this]… come forward and take responsibility.”
Based on evidence collected at the scene, police believe the suspect vehicle is red and possibly sustained minor to moderate damage.
