NEW ROADS - A Louisiana State Police spokesperson confirms one person died in a head-on collision involving two cars in New Roads.

It happened around 3 p.m. on La. 1 north of Hospital Roads. According to officials, 3 other people were transported to a hospital to be treated, 2 of them in critical condition.
