Motorcyclist killed in overnight crash identified
BATON ROUGE - An accident involving a motorcycle and an SUV took the life of one person Tuesday evening.
The incident happened just before 7:30 p.m. on Perkins Road near the Bluebonnet Boulevard intersection.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, 24-year-old Joseph Bueche was driving a 2006 Honda Sports motorcycle westbound on Perkins Road when a 2003 Ford Explorer entered his lane of travel from a private driveway.
Police say Bueche's motorcycle crashed into the SUV. He died at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
