LSU to make announcement on refund/other options for McNeese game by Wednesday
BATON ROUGE - LSU announced Sunday night that it will have a decision regarding how to compensate Tiger fans for the cancellation of the McNeese State football game by Wednesday.
The Tigers and Cowboys only managed 10 plays and less than 5 minutes of game time before lightning postponed, and ultimately caused the cancellation of the game Saturday night.
With the Cowboys and Tigers owning different open dates later in the season, there was no chance to reschedule the game later in the season, and the teams decided not to reschedule for either Sunday or Monday of Labor Day weekend.
The Tigers sent out the following message: "LSU will have information on ticket refunds/other options from McNeese game by Wednesday of this week."
LSU (0-0) will next travel to Mississippi State to face the Bulldogs Saturday night at 8:15 on ESPN.
