Interstate open after pileup
ASCENSION- Eastbound lanes of I-10 opened after being shut down for close to two hours Monday.
Six cars and a moving van were involved in a crash near the Ascension/East Baton Rouge Parish lines.
An eyewitness reported one vehicle swerved and was hit by the moving van. The first crash triggered train reaction crashes, leading to the pileup.
No major injuries were reported.
