Freeze Warning in effect tonight
A FREEZE WARNING is in effect for the Florida Parishes, southwest Mississippi, as well as Pointe Coupee and West Baton Rouge parishes.
A FREEZE WARNING means that freezing conditions (32°F/0°C) are expected for three hours or more and is issued during one of the first freezes of the season.
Please remember to protect plants and pets and bring them inside if possible. It is a smart idea to protect exposed pipes, but indoor pipes will be okay.
The FREEZE WARNING will expire at 8 a.m. Monday morning. Tonight will be the coldest night this week. Monday afternoon will boast sunshine with highs in the mid to upper 60s. From there, temperatures become more seasonable.
