Deadly crash shuts down I-12 E at Juban
DENHAM SPRINGS - The eastbound lanes of Interstate 12 at Juban Rd. remain closed this morning after a multi-vehicle crash that left one person dead.
It happened around 1 a.m. Monday.
Emergency officials in Livingston Parish say three vehicles were involved, including an 18-wheeler.
The driver of one of the passenger vehicles died at the scene.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was also injured, officials said.
No word on what led to the crash.
Crews are working to clear the wreckage and do not have a time frame of when the roadway will reopen.
