BRPD: 30-year-old victim dies after shooting on Alliquippa Street
BATON ROUGE - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place Saturday afternoon.
According to BRPD, the shooting occurred around 5:45 p.m. in the 4000 block of Alliquippa Street. Police arrived on the scene to find a 30-year-old male victim sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim, identified as John Offord, succumbed to his injuries Sunday morning at a local hospital, according to BRPD.
There are no known suspects or motives at this time.
