Authorities investigating cause of fatal overnight fire in Zachary

ZACHARY - One person is dead following an overnight trailer fire in Zachary. According to Louisiana State Fire Marshal's Office, it is believed the fire started in the living room area of the mobile home.
As of Thursday morning, the cause of the fire still has yet to be determined.
The blaze was reported around 9 p.m. at a location on Deerford Road near Plank Road. Officials say, one male victim was found dead at the scene. The name of the deceased hasn't been released at this time.
