PLAQUEMINE - Deputies arrested two teenagers for murder charges after they allegedly shot and killed a man and injured his daughter Tuesday night.

The Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office said a woman called 911 shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday and said her father had been shot. When deputies arrived, they found a 45-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds and the woman with one. 

The man died on the scene. The woman was taken to a hospital, and her injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. 

After a search in Plaquemine, deputies arrested two teenagers: 19-year-old Andre Kitts and an unidentified 16-year-old. They were both arrested for second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder. 

It was unclear what led to the shooting.
