WESTON - The lawyer for a Connecticut man accused of killing his parents says his client could be arraigned as soon as Monday.
Eugene Riccio said Saturday he expects 27-year-old Kyle Navin will be served with arrest papers by Connecticut State Police sometime this weekend.
Navin is currently being held in a federal prison in Rhode Island on a weapons charge.
Riccio declined to comment on the latest allegations. Connecticut State Police said Friday that Navin faces two counts of murder and murder with special circumstances.
Navin's girlfriend was arrested Friday night. Thirty-one-year-old Jennifer Valiante is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and hindering prosecution.
The bodies of Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin, of Easton, were found Thursday in the yard of a vacant home in nearby Weston.
