BATON ROUGE - Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department are investigating a fatal Saturday night shooting that occurred around 8 p.m. within the 100 block of St. Rose Avenue, which is between Government Street and North Boulevard.

On Sunday morning, authorities identified the victim as a 24-year-old man named Kayzon Tenner, and say he sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Officials have yet to release information related to a motive or suspect.

An investigation into the fatal shooting is in progress and updates will be provided as detectives continue to gather information.
