PRAIRIEVILLE – A Prairieville man who was on the run after he held a woman against her will then raped and abused her has turned himself in, according to the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office.

Investigators with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office announced on Thursday that they were searching for 55-year-old Stephen Janis.
