Police: Man killed in Tuesday I-12 E crash apparently experienced medical emergency while driving
BATON ROUGE - A deadly crash on I-12 EB at the 10/12 split claimed the life of a Baton Rouge man on Tuesday, Dec. 8, officials say.
According to Baton Rouge Police, 56-year-old Dereck Hudson was killed during the crash, which occurred when Hudson experienced a medical emergency while he was behind the wheel.
Hudson was driving along I-12 East near the 10/12 split before 5 a.m. when his vehicle went off-road, police confirmed.
Police say their investigation into the tragic crash remains ongoing.
