LAFOURCHE PARISH- Deputies from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office arrested a man they say acted inappropriately with a minor.

Ricardo Lopez was arrested for sexual battery (forcible fondling) of a child under the age of 13.

Detectives opened an investigation into Lopez in September. During their investigation, detectives learned that Lopez allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with a minor.

On October 31, Lopez turned himself into authorities. He was booked into the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux. His bond is set at $100,000.
