LSU flies over Nate following Saturday win
BATON ROUGE – After their win against Florida Saturday night, the LSU football team had to deal with another foe: the flight home through Nate.
An LSU sports writer was first to notice the flight path of the chartered 737 as it cruised above the hurricane making landfall in Mississippi.
Earlier, team handlers were heard telling reporters to make the post-game interviews quick so the team could get on its plane and try to beat the storm.
LSU chartered a United jet. The flight lasted a little less than 90-minutes.
