Four teenagers to be charged in Rhoda Drive murder
BATON ROUGE - Four teenagers will face upgraded charges because Elmer Ochoa died several days after being shot on Rhoda Drive on Oct. 18.
Darius Clark, 18, will face charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal use of a weapon.
Kyriel Spencer, 17, will face charges of second-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal use of a weapon.
Eric Johnson, 17, will face charges as a principal to second-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal use of a weapon.
Jerrin Spencer, 17, will face charges as a principal to second-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal use of a weapon.
Ochoa, 33, was taken off life support and died on Oct. 28.

Ten days earlier, he had been found badly wounded in the 4300 block of Rhoda Drive around 1:30 p.m. He was lying on the ground with his pockets turned inside out, leading investigators to believe he was shot in a robbery.
