Firefighters on scene of house fire on Lula Avenue
BATON ROUGE - Firefighters responded to a fire at a home on Lula Avenue Thursday evening.
The fire was reported around 9:30 p.m. around the 2800 block of Lula Avenue.
Authorities said the cause of the house fire was electrical. Freighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the house. The fire was located in the kitchen area of the house.
The house received heavy smoke damage.
