BRPD: 2 teens dead after drug deal turns into shooting on S. Flannery Road
BATON ROUGE - Authorities say two teenagers are dead after a drug escalated into a shooting in the 1000 block of S. Flannery Road Sunday.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, authorities believe 19-year-old Kenyi Kolok and 18-year-old Orenthean Daniels met to conduct a drug transaction around 5 p.m. Sunday. Police say at some point gunfire was exchanged during a dispute.
Kolok died at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound. Daniels arrived at a local hospital where he later succumbed to his own injuries.
Investigators suspect there may be another suspect involved.
