Crowds gather for Alfred Angelo $300 dress sale
BATON ROUGE- Future brides and bridesmaids are rushing to Towne Center before running to the altar.
After the abrupt closing of Alfred Angelo's Bridal last year, the owners have gained access to the store. The retailer closed more than 60 U.S. stores overnight in July, as it filed for bankruptcy. Panicked brides scrambled to claim their dresses.
Today starting at 9 a.m. doors to the store will reopen for a special event where all gowns will be $300, no matter their original price.
