UPS plans to hire more than 90,000 workers for the holiday shopping season.

The company announced that 95,000 workers will be hired for temporary jobs. Last year, the company hired 93,000 workers for the holiday season.

A company spokesman said that the company is seeking package handlers along with drivers for delivery vehicles. He said that the pay range for seasonal hires is &10.10 to $30 an hour. According to the spokesman, about 37 percent of seasonal jobs hires for the past three years have been hired permanently.
