Suspect arrested in deadly weekend shooting on Jefferson Avenue
UPDATE: Police have arrested 45-year-old Harry Nelson for the deadly shooting of Zirondallo Turner. He was booked on charges second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
Investigators have yet to identify a motive in the shooting.
BATON ROUGE - One person is dead following a Saturday night shooting.
The incident was reported around 10 p.m. in 4800 block of Jefferson Avenue near North Foster. Police say 42-year-old Zirondallo Turner was found in his living room with apparent gunshot injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There are no known suspects or motives at this time, according to authorities.
The investigation is ongoing.
