NEW ORLEANS- A Mardi Gras parade club in New Orleans plans to celebrate the premiere of the latest "Star Wars" movie with a unique mashup of cultures - one from a galaxy far, far away; the other from a neighborhood bar.

Early screenings of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" were arranged Thursday night for officers of the Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus, an organization that got its start at New Orleans' Saturn Bar six years ago.

After the first screening, members of the krewe planned to march in various science fiction and fantasy costumes into the French Quarter, accompanied by a brass band playing a medley of "Star Wars" tunes.
