Mexican Red Cross travels to Baton Rouge to join American Red Cross in flood recovery
BATON ROUGE- Members of the Mexican Red Cross, Cruz Roja Mexicana, are joining the American Red Cross in Baton Rouge this week to help Latino families that have suffered from the flood.
The ten volunteers from Cruz Roja Mexicana are set to visit communities around Baton Rouge next week. The workers are tasked with casework operations that connect families to Red Cross resources and services.
The Cruz Roja Mexicana and American Red Cross Outreach Event is set for today, Saturday, Sept. 24 at 5 p.m. at El Centro Biblico de la Comunidad, 14720 Old Hammond Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
