Man arrested after alleged kidnapping in St. John Parish
ST. JOHN PARISH - A man is facing multiple charges including kidnapping after an incident Sunday.
Around 3:30 a.m., deputies with the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a Garyville home after a man had forced his way inside. The suspect was later identified as 29-year-old Devin Bolden.
Authorities say Bolden held the 21-year-old female victim against her will, assaulted her and fled the scene.
The sheriff's office later arrested Bolden and found the victim in "good health."
Bolden's charges include attempted home invasion, simple criminal damage to property, battery and simple kidnapping.
