Lafayette's Grand Theatre scheduled to reopen following shooting
LAFAYETTE - The Grand Theatre 16 in Lafayette where John Houser opened fire, killing two and injuring nine, is set to reopen on November 19.
The theatre closed on July 23 after Jillian Johnson and Maycie Breaux were killed.
Lafayette Parish-President Joey Durel purchased the first ticket, and he says everything inside has been changed from the concession stand to the new carpet.
