NEW ORLEANS- George Strait will make a concert appearance on May 27 during the Bayou Country Superfest.
Bayou Country Superfest is Strait's only scheduled festival appearance of the year. The music festival will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
Joining Strait will be Chris Stapleton, Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves and Midland.
Tickets for May 27th show will be on sale November 2 at 10 a.m. CST. Reserved seat tickets start at $50.
On Memorial Day weekend, Louisiana Seafood presents Bayou Saturday Night, a free concert outside the Superdome at Champions Square. The concert will feature Randy Houser, Michael Ray and Runaway June on May 26.
One new feature of this year's Bayou Country Superfest will be "A Salute to America," a huge fireworks display over the Mississippi River on May 25.
The consecutive day concert has its roots in Baton Rouge. It had to be moved from Tiger Stadium due to construction at the venue in 2016.
