NEW IBERIA - The Humane Society of Louisiana is seeking information after a family's cat was impaled with an arrow over the weekend.

The owners say 'Sox' was found Saturday night with an arrow going through her left shoulder, all the way to her backside. Thankfully, the arrow didn't strike any major organs and Sox is now recovering at an area animal hospital.

The Humane Society says Sox's owners have filed a complaint with the local sheriff's office. The HSL says it's also offering a $500 for any information leading to the person responsible.

Additionally, the Humane Society is hoping to raise $400 to help pay for Sox's medical bills.
