BATON ROUGE - The 19th Judicial District Court and East Baton Rouge Clerk of Court's Office will be closed through April 30.

A statement from parish officials said Juvenile court will be open on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. for emergency filings only.

Emergency filings with the clerk's office can still be made from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.

Anyone who has been summoned for jury duty during this time should not report to the courthouse.

All court appearance dates will be rescheduled, litigants will receive notice of their new court dates, and bench warrants will not be issued.
