Authorities identify person killed in motorcycle crash on Plank Road
UPDATE: The person killed in the motorcycle crash Tuesday night has been identified as 33-year-old Dequincy Posey.
As the van entered the southbound lane, the motorcycle struck the rear of the van. Posey was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to BRPD, the driver of the van did not suffer any injuries from the crash.
BATON ROUGE- Officials responded to a fatal crash involving a motorcycle Tuesday night near the Baton Rouge Metro Airport.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, a motorcycle rear-ended a van around 8:24 p.m. in the 8400 block of Plank Road near Robique Road.
Sources tell WBRZ one person sustained fatal injuries.
