2 bodies found in Covington mobile home
COVINGTON - Authorities are investigating the deaths of two people after their bodies were discovered in a trailer early Monday afternoon.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies reported to a home at the Oak Villa Mobile Home Park on Ronald Reagan Highway to check on tenants who reportedly had not spoken to anyone in 10 days.
Upon arrival, deputies entered the home and found two badly decomposed bodies inside.
Because of the condition of the bodies, positive identification and a determination of cause of death are pending autopsies.
Deputies say there is no apparent indication of foul play.
