Wreck, stalled vehicles cause I-10 W backup from Miss. River Bridge to Bluebonnet
BATON ROUGE - A pair of incidents have led to a rough start to the Wednesday evening commute in Baton Rouge.
Things got kicked off properly with multiple vehicles stalling on I-10 West on the Mississippi River Bridge just after 3 p.m., blocking multiple lanes of traffic and causing a queue to stretch out beyond Bluebonnet Boulevard by the the time all lanes were announced clear just before 4 p.m.
Also on I-10 West, a wreck in the center lane of the interstate at I-110 contributed to the delay of the bridge stalls. All of those lanes were announced back open at around the same time the vehicle stalls were cleared, but not before the damage was done.
