BATON ROUGE - A reported shooting within the 3800 block of Evangeline Street resulted in one man being rushed to an area hospital for treatment. 

Sources say the male victim was initially located by authorities at the hospital. 

The extent of his injuries remains unknown at this time. 

An investigation into the incident that caused his injuries remains ongoing.
