BATON ROUGE - A man is facing multiple charges including obscenity after authorities investigated a suspicious vehicle.

On Friday around 12:49 p.m. deputies were dispatched to a location in the 11600 block of Nicholson Drive. At the scene, authorities found the suspect passed out in the back of a vehicle which was reported stolen.

Deputies made contact with the man, identified as Jason Bell, and asked him to exit the vehicle. Arrest documents say Bell smelled of alcohol.

Bell became loud and confrontational when he was asked if he had permission to drive the vehicle, authorities say. While searching the vehicle, deputies found a pistol in the front seat.

The suspect was then placed in handcuffs and put in the back of an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office unit. After arriving at the prison, Bell exposed himself and urinated in the back seat of the patrol car.

Bell was booked with convicted felon in possession of a firearm, obscenity, and two active warrants.
