57-year-old Brian Leonard, of Galliano, was killed just before 6 p.m. Sunday, according to Troopers.
State Police said the crash happened as Leonard was traveling southbound on LA 1037 when, for unknown reasons, the man failed to negotiate a right-hand curve and lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and hit a culvert. After hitting the culvert, Leonard’s vehicle ramped into the air and collided with a tree.
