UPDATE: Police have arrested the man suspected of shooting Chris Price outside the Crossroads Grocery store Monday. 

Authorities arrested Taurus Hamilton and his mother, Belinda Hamilton, in connection with the Zachary shooting, as well as three other murders in East Feliciana.

ZACHARY - Crews responded to reports of a shooting outside an area grocery store Sunday evening.

The shooting was reported shortly before 5 p.m. at the Crossroads Grocery Store in the 20000 block of Plank Road. Authorities say one person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police confirmed the shooting stemmed from an argument, but don't know if the victim knew the suspect before the incident. A witness at the scene said the shooter ran up to a vehicle at a gas pump outside the store, reached into the vehicle, and shot the driver. 

Authorities said the victim was a black male. There is no word on a possible suspect, but police did say they are searching for the shooter in the area.
