LSU improves to 3-0 with 45-13 win over Kent St.
The LSU Tigers improved to 3-0 on the season dispatching Kent St. with relative ease 45-13 on Saturday night.
The Tigers threw for three scores and rushed for three more as they neared the 600 yard mark on total yardage with just over 300 yards on the ground.
LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger finished 13 of 18 for 264 yards, three scores and no turnovers for the third straight game.
The Tigers will open SEC play next week against Auburn.
