BAYOU BLUE - Authorities are seeking possible suspects in an early morning theft after a change machine was pulled from a concrete wall at a Bayou Blue gas station.

According to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office, investigators responded to a car wash on LA 316 after receiving a report that a change machine had been stolen. Detectives believe a large hammer was used to remove the entire box from a brick wall early Monday morning.

It is estimated that several hundred dollars in change was in the machine, and the machine itself is valued at approximately $3,000.

Anyone with information regarding the incident can submit a tip anonymously by phone at 1-800-743-7433. Tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
